Oval track racing is the block buster venue of motorsports in the United States . It is the place to go for national brands for exposure such as Tide, Kellogs, Mr. Goodwrench, and for regional and local companies to seek out brand-loyal spectators. It can be a real serious commitment with a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Team sponsorship, going for $ 5 - 8 million dollars, and a local team asking for up to $75,000 for bullring cars. The media exposure can range from CBS, ABC, ESPN, Speed, TBS, and ESPN2 to the and N.Y. Times.
